Blick vom verschatteten Portikus mit mehreren Figuren auf den Hof des Tempels, wohl von Edfou in Ägypten. Besonders auffällig die jeweils seitlich liegenden breiten, prachtvollen Säulen.

David Roberts verließ Kairo im Oktober 1838, besuchte und besichtigte manchmal die Tempelruinen auf dem Hinweg und fertigte seine wichtigsten Zeichnungen auf dem Rückweg an. In Edfou war er zum ersten Mal am 26. Oktober. (1420533) (18)
