Auf geschweiftem schwarzweiß geädertem Marmorsockel, welcher die Züge der in Silber gegossenen und ziselierten Darstellung aufnimmt, eine Miniaturdarstellung der „Fontana del Moro“ auf der Piazza Navona in Rom, welche 1574-1576 von Giacomo della Porta geschaffen wurde. Die Figur des mit einem Delphin kämpfenden Äthiopiers, welcher dem Brunnen seinen Namen gab, etwas locker. Der Bozetto für diese Figur, welche von Giovanni Antonio Mari ausgeführt wurde, stammte von Bernini. (12314130) (13)
