Bildtafel möglicherweise noch ausgehendes 18. Jahrhundert. In einem aufwendig gestalteten Ädikularahmen des 19. Jahrhunderts im Frührenaissance-Stil.

Die Tondodarstellung zeigt Maria im Dreiviertelbildnis, in den Armen das nach links halb aufrecht sitzende Jesuskind, das in ein Buch blickt. Im Hintergrund fein gemalte Landschaft mit Teich, miniaturhaft gemalten Figuren, zarten jungen Bäumen (die auf die Kindheit Jesu symbolisch hinweisen) sowie verschneiten Bergen am Horizont. Die Ecken entsprechend dem Originalbild ebenfalls bemalt mit Arabesken- und Groteskenmotiven.

Kopie nach dem Gemälde Raffaels von 1504, das sich in der Eremitage von St. Petersburg befindet. Die Kopie in original Größe. (1032871) (11)
