Auf einer angedeuteten Tischplatte eine polychrom staffierte Keramikvase. Darin ein raumgreifender Blumenstrauß aus plastisch dargestellten Päonien und Iris.
Anmerkung:
1884 war er Mitbegründer der Gruppe Les XX , die für ihre dunstigen atmosphärischen Gemälde bekannt war. 1887 zog er nach London. Gegen Ende des Jahrzehnts war sein Werk zunehmend von neoimpressionistischen Einflüssen geprägt, doch nach 1894 kehrte er zu seinem früheren impressionistischen Stil zurück. (14505726) (13)
