Small ivory table sculpture of Mercury after Giambologna
Height of the sculpture: 16.3 cm.
Overall height: ca. 20.5 cm.
End of the 19th century.
Ivory and ivory-coloured metal, mounted on wooden base. Miniaturized copy of the Mercury by Giambologna from 1580 which is today held at the Louvre. Caduceus added, restored.
