In gemaltem Hochoval die sitzende Maria in leuchtend, rotem, faltenreichem Gewand und blauem Mantelüberwurf, auf ihrem Schoß den in einem weißen Gewand sitzenden Jesusknaben festhaltend; beide blicken mit ihren braunen Augen aufmerksam auf den Betrachter hinaus. Links von ihnen Josef, in seinen Händen ein aufgeschlagenes Buch haltend und darin lesend. Die Darstellung wird umgeben von einem farbenfrohen Kranz aus Blumen mit großen, leuchtenden Blüten, darunter sind zu finden: gestreifte Tulpen, Rosen, weißer Schneeball, Anemonen, diverse Kleinblütler und mittig, als oberem Kranzabschluss, eine prachtvolle, orange leuchtende Kaiserkrone. Farbstarke Darstellung, die auf die Zusammenarbeit der beiden Maler weist, wobei die Blumen von Jan Brueghel d. J. stammen. (14315010) (18)
