Der intensive scharlachrote Fond zeigt Aussparungen mit Blumendekoren. Ein weiteres Motiv auf dieser Vase sind Darstellungen von Hähnen, die sonst hauptsächlich auf kaiserlichen Porzellanen vorkommen. Darüber hinaus sind im Fond Chrysanthemen-Blüten eingestreut. An Mündungsrand und oberhalb des Standrings jeweils ein Blumenband auf Rautenmuster. Frühes Export-Porzellan für Europa. Famille rose.

Es ist ein Stück aus einer Fünfergarnitur von Altarvasen. Für den frühen Export nach Europa wurde dieser Typus dem europäischen Geschmack angepasst und fanden hauptsächlich als Kamingarnituren Verwendung. Die Form der hier beschriebenen Vase geht auf den Ku-Typus archaischer Sakralvasen zurück. (6812065)
