Tiepolo f.“ signiert. (Ausstellungskatalog, Stuttgart S. 63-68). (1432331) (11)

TWO FEMALE ALLEGORIES

23 x 15.5 cm.
Signed “Dom. Tiepolo f.” lower right.

The drawings on offer for sale here also show strong similarities with works of the artist’s father, which means that the chronological classification falls into the years of collaboration, i.e. up to 1770. Examples of such drawings can be found in the graphic collection of the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, in the Albertina in Vienna and in the Kupferstichkabinett Dresden, and some private collections. Almost all of them are signed, as is the case here, with “Dom. Tiepolo f.” (exhibition catalogue Stuttgart, pp. 63-68).

This object has been individually compared to the information in the Art Loss Register data bank and is not registered there as stolen or missing.
