Über im Boulle-Stil gestaltetem Sockel die Bronzefigur eines patinierten Bronzestieres, welcher sich an das Original Giovanni Bolognas (um 1529-1608) hält. Bolognas stolz daherschreitender Stier, dessen kraftvolle Bewegung in seinem elegant auf die Kuppe gelegten Schweif ausläuft, gehört zu den am häufigsten wiederholten Bronzen des Bildhauers. Ausgangspunkt für die zahlreichen Repliken bildete jener Stier, den Bologna 1573 für Großherzog Cosimo I de Medici (reg. 1537-1574) angefertigt hat und der heute im Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florenz aufbewahrt wird. Pedestal decorated in Boulle technique carrying a patinated bronze figure of a bull that resembles a sculpture by Bologna. Numerous replicas were modelled after Bologna's original bull created in 1573 for the Grand Duke Cosimo I. de’Medici (reigned 1537 - 1574) and is today held at the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence.
