Über einen schmalen Gebirgsfluss mit einer einfachen Holzbrücke fällt der Blick auf eine große, von der aufgehenden Sonne beschienene Almhütte hinweg, vor einem nach rechts wiedergegebenen Waldrand. Vor der Hütte ein Bauer mit zwei Maultieren, dahinter wird der Blick geleitet in ein weites Tal vor einem großen Gebirge, teils mit schneebedeckten Wipfeln im warmen, harmonischen Licht der aufgehenden Sonne.
