Hampel Art Auctions in MUNICH

Hampel Art Auctions
Since its relocation in 1999, Hampel auction house has been located in Munich’s museum district, close to numerous major art galleries such as the Old and New Pinakothek, the Brandhorst Collection and Lenbach House. The late 19th-century villa houses the auction room, an exhibition area of 1300 m², a photo studio, experts’ offices, a catering outlet and the company’s administration centre.

We offer our international clientele first-class works of art from various categories. The focus is on old masters of museum quality, exquisite furniture, arts and crafts, works of classical modernism, as well as clocks, watches and jewellery. Russian art is a further speciality. Hampel also auctions excellent private collections, such as the Karg Foundation’s important Max Liebermann collection, a collection of old masters of museum quality from a private owner in southern Germany, a collection of sculptures and paintings from Brussels, and the de Cardenas collection.
